Taking place over several hours on a single hot August afternoon, just a few months past V-E Day, “1945″ presents a world that is trying to get back to normal. The arrival of two Orthodox Jews upsets a village’s preparations for a wedding day. Transporting two mysterious wooden boxes from the train station to the town, their arrival distresses everyone, making ‘normal’ seemingly even harder to achieve.

Too quick to start too slow to end.

Slow to start but came good.

We cannot escape our guilty deeds.
